Position: IT Director Principal Functional Lead - Finance & Procurement
Job Location: HQ is located in Brussels/Anderlecht and up to 50% homeworking

The role in a nutshell

This position is responsible for developing and implementing information technology policy, aligning IT strategy with business strategies, and overall direction of the technology at Ansell.

Reporting directly to the IT VP Enterprise Applications, the role is to plan, coordinate, direct, and designs all finance & procurement activities (Financial Planning & Analysis, Group Accounting, Controlling & Reporting, Tax & Treasury, & procurement process such as supplier relationship mgt, purchasing of inventory & non-inventory, Supplier Returns to Settlement, Travel & expenses) of Ansell’s business systems as well as provides direction and support for IT solutions and architect design that enhance Ansell Finance & Procurement.

This individual will collaborate directly with the finance & procurement leadership team and their teams to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and execute short and long term strategies, tactics, work plans and projects that provide for the orderly and cost effective development, installation and operation of information systems and communications technologies

In addition, the role is accountable for ensuring the quality of the design, delivery and support of finance & procurement functional area of the ERP program. This entails managing multiple functional consultants and coordinating across multiple projects and operational teams to ensure alignment of overall solution.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Accountable for the overall ERP/D365 design to achieve the strategic ambition of Finance & Procurement Operating Model
• Partner with key relevant business stakeholders to establish an ERP/D365 design to enable Ansell to operate in a standard way across region and Global Business Unit
• Accountable for ensuring the process and system design is robust and sustainable long term, both from a business requirements perspective, meeting data quality criteria and supportability of the asset
• Accountable for leading a team of Ansell staff and third parties to deliver and align the design across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial & GBU.
• Accountable for delivery of design specification, configuration and test execution service capability to the ERP/D365 Systems
• Accountable for the delivery of 3rd level support services, and delivery of enhancements
• Accountable for ensuring integration with other areas (e.g. Procurement, Supply Chain) and ensuring all functional designs are taken through appropriate governance boards
• Accountable for ensuring the design is delivered in a way that is globally deployable. The role is accountable for defining elements of the design that are fixed and can’t be changed and areas where the business has flexibility
• Sourcing – make versus buy decisions relative to outsourcing versus in-house provisioning of information technology services and skills.
• Partnerships – establish strong strategic relationships between key IT supplier and consultants.
• Technology transfer – recommend and deliver enabling technologies that make it easier for customers and suppliers to do business with the company as well as increase revenue and profitability.
• Customer satisfaction – interact with internal and external IT customers to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.
• Training – provide ongoing training for all company IT staff to ensure productive use of existing and new systems.
• Budget – Track and Report IT expenses related to regional activities along with project expense tracking.
• Implement IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures.
• Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments.

Your qualifications

• Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or Finance related degree
• 10-15 years in IT management in global environment using ERP/D365
• Supervisory experience
