Purpose of the Job

The successful candidate will work as part of the Discretionary Mandates team in Brussels.

Key Accountabilities

  • Participate and help in the process of taking investment decisions regarding the different discretionary offerings managed by the team, in particular a sustainable mandate managed locally.
  • Assist on the implementation of the investment decisions taken in the mandates managed by the team.
  • Be a key part of the conviction chain and act as a point of contact regarding various questions to support the client advisors.
  • Participate to the elaboration of supporting documentations and presentations for internal and external clients.
  • Contribute to the follow-up of the positions invested in the portfolios.
  • Help in the construction of new portfolios in line with the strategy.
  • Ensure portfolios are aligned with their respective templates, respect the investment guidelines and avoid breaches.
  • Integrate the views and the investment strategy deployed by the CIO office.
  • Develop a sound knowledge and understanding of sustainable investments.
  • be an agent of change for strategic transformation.

Knowledge And Experience

  • University degree (economics, commercial engineer, lawyer...).
  • A first working experience of several years as an auditor, consultant or similar function. An experience in the banking or asset management industry is a plus.
  • Sound knowledge of the financial markets and financial instruments.
  • Certification as a CFA, CAIA is a plus.
