Responsibilities

As a Junior Project Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on state-of-the-art products. You will help realize programs from A to Z and ensure the technical translation of customer needs into robust, innovative solutions. Your responsibilities include:

  • Translating customer needs into clear technical requirements
  • Participating in concept development and experimentation work
  • Designing system architectures
  • Participating in technical risk reduction activities
  • Coordinating design work in close collaboration with the engineering department
  • Writing and maintaining technical documentation
  • Providing technical support to Program and Product Managers throughout the design, manufacturing, verification, and validation phases
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
  • Good understanding of (or strong interest in) OIPs technology domains: electro-optics, mechanics, electronics, embedded software, firmware, etc.
  • Creative problem-solver with an innovative mindset
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage large volumes of technical data
  • Strong analytical skills to summarize complex problems and support design choices
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Stress-resistant, autonomous, and proactive attitude
  • Experience in defense or space projects is an asset
