What will you be doing ?

For our Client (P&G B.I.C.) in Strombeek-Bever, we’re regularly looking for Lab Assistant and Researcher Profiles.

In these Positions, your main Tasks would be to execute Tests by following standard Methods and Operating Procedures.

More Specifically, This Means
  • Perform Samples Management (i.e. receive Products to test, create/store/move Samples, ...);
  • Planning and executing daily Measurements;
  • Perform Data Management (i.e. eeping Track of Test Results, enter Data in Database, ...);
  • Interacting with Tests Requisitioners;
  • Using Laboratory Equipment (i.e pH Meter, Viscosity Meter, Rheology Meter, Colorimeter, Density Meter Ovens, Incubators, Constant Temperature Rooms, Images Analyzer, ...) for Calibration, Inspection, Maintenance, Problem Solving, ...;
  • Checking Availability of Lab Materials, Equipment and Consumables on a regular Basis;
  • Summarizing Findings in Reports, Presentations, ...

What are we looking for?

A Candidate For This Position Should
  • Have a Science (preferably Chemistry) Background, obtained by Studies (max. Bachelor Degree) or Experience (max. 5 Years overall Experience) in the Field;
  • Have a good Level of English (Dutch and/or French are a Plus!);
  • Be a quick Learner;
  • Have good organizational Skills;
  • Have good Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Word);
  • Have Eye for Detail;
  • Have good Observation Skills;
  • Be compliant with Corporate Programs (i.e. Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental, Information Technology);
  • Be good with a Computer (i.e. Work with Databases);
  • Be able to work in a Team but also independently;
  • Have Knowledge of (and applying) specific Protection Measures linked to handling of Chemicals --> Specific Training and Qualification performed by R&D).

What do we offer?
  • Duration : Project of +/- 3 Months up to Max. 1 Year (Weekly Contracts) --> Extension up to 1 Year (Maximum) is possible, but is not always a Guarantee from the Start!;
  • Salary :
  • Lab Assistant: Salary of € 18,78 (gross) per Hour --> +/- € 3092,70 (gross) per Month;
  • Associate Researcher: Salary of € 20,51 (gross) per Hour --> +/- € 3376,62 (gross) per Month;
  • Extra Reimbursements : 75 % Refund for Public Transport Costs OR Mileage Allowance for Car Transport;
  • Food : Company Restaurant (International Cuisine);
  • Asset on your CV : Working in an International Company.
