Your mission

You provide expertise & implement individual and collective solutions in the area of learning & development: you challenge, develop and implement learning & development processes, solutions and tools in line with the overall HR strategy and the business needs in terms of strategically relevant competencies and areas of expertise.

As Learning & Development Business Partner , you:

  • Contribute to the evolution of a company-wide vision and approach on L&D strategy and governance to meet organizational and business specific development needs of competences and areas of expertise.
  • Capture business specific needs and ensure appropriate L&D solutions & learning culture to upskill and reskill individual team members, functional expert groups, people managers and newcomers
    • Needs intake with managers and management teams
    • Solution identification & implementation
    • Provider detection & partner management
    • Pilot & Launch
    • User & quality evaluations
  • Follow-up L&D budget decisions & reportings to improve learning participation & impact of learning investments.
  • Promote existing and new learning solutions to target audiences and their management and optimize end user experience to stimulate learning amongst our team members
  • Support L&D community of BU specific trainers in maximizing digital and social learning solutions:
    • Promote adoption & best practices sharing of digital learning platforms
    • Monitor market evolutions on L&D approaches and technology
    • Suggest, advise and help choose & implement further evolutions and adjustments of L&D related HRIS set-up & data reportings
  • Manage the correct & efficient implementation of the new or updated policies to assure an improved team member experience by:
    • Identifying potential impacts, bottlenecks or opportunities on processes, other policies and practices and tools/systems. Documenting changes in practices or working methods and assuring that HR front office is well informed to respond in an autonomous way to questions from the team members.
    • Managing all the actions to adapt processes, practices and tools. Seeing to it that all potential stakeholders have been informed or trained accordingly so as to keep high customer satisfaction (change management).
  • Project Management :
    • Ensure proper understanding and capturing of business requirements.
    • Define project scope based on analysis of business requirements and in line with HR strategy and have it validated in HR projects platform.
    • Plan, organize and coordinate all aspects of a single HR project.
    • Manage pro-actively the links and impacts to other domains and ensure communication about project status to all stakeholders.
  • Develop, provide and give training on request to increase HR colleagues’ knowledge and/or line managers’ knowledge.

Major interactions

Internal interactions : HR Business Partners, people managers & management teams, Business L&D Teams in commercial business lines, subject matter experts in technical departments and enabling functions, training logistics support team in HR Operations, Orange Group and Orange Europe L&D Teams, HRIS/Data team for tooling & reporting matters

External interactions : Learning & Development suppliers, external HR & Learning networks

Your specific expertise

  • By preference at least 5 years expertise in the area of L&D, Talent development, Competence management
  • Hands-on experience with digital learning and virtual classroom training

  • Demonstrable accomplishments in conceptualizing, planning, and executing a broad range of learning events and initiatives
  • Active interest in learning technology evolution
