A vibrant international company active in the insurance sector is currently looking to hire a Liability Underwriter to join their offices in Brussels.

Thanks to your experience in insurance and business, you will be the perfect addition to the company and will play a key role within the team.

Your main responsibilities as the new Liability Underwriter will include:

  • Negotiating and underwriting technical additions to existing insurance policies
  • Working out combined property and machine breakage coverages
  • Negotiating, accepting and drafting of complex insurance files
  • Monitoring, controlling and supervision of insurance contracts with regard to conditions, claims statistics and prevention
  • Negotiation, (re)underwriting of reorganisation and renewal files

Your profile:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or a Master’s degree in Law
  • You have a minimum of five year’s experience
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English and a knowledge of French is a plus
