Would you like to support our locations in process management & quality improvements in order to fulfill internal & external requirements?
Do you like to promote "Quality Awareness" throughout the locations and define the strategic action plan to assure implementation of the Operation’s strategy within its respective area of responsibility?

Then you might be the Location Quality Manager, for the Borealis locations in Beringen/Geleen, we are looking for!

This is a grasp of your main responsibilities:

* Ensure integration of local needs and challenges into Group Quality plans and activities.
* Co-operate closely with the local management team and coach the line organization in implementing the right competencies & skills related to Best Practice (external & between Borealis locations).
* Ensure consistent understanding, implementation and compliance of the Management System and processes within designated area.
* Drive continuous improvement of the location’s process performance and behaviour e.g. through management reviews, regular audits, sharing best practices & lessons learned and quality trainings for the staff at the location.
* Ensure that processes & tools needed for the Management System are established, implemented & maintained locally and act as Quality Champion for implementation of Quality Tools.
* Evaluate risks e.g. regarding customer needs, projects, changes in infrastructure/equipment and new chemicals and identify areas for improvement.
* Accountable for the Site´s preparedness towards customer & authority audits and safeguard local certificates related to Quality Management.
* Solve conflicts between different functional areas in relation to customer complaints and other quality related matters.

Profile description:

There might be a synergy between you and Borealis, if you

* hold a master’s degree, preferably with a chemical background
* have a QM education, internal Auditor´s license and have knowledge in related Standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949,…)
* can count on 5-10 years of line experience, preferably from different business areas
* demonstrate ability to manage change processes successfully, monitor complexity, diversity and risks
* show ability to implement local action plans
* can master/facilitate and coach within an operational environment
* master English and Dutch at business level

On top of that you:
* have a very good analytical mind and conceptual thinking attitude
* own organizational awareness
* are a team player and are highly customer orientated
