Are you an experienced technician seeking new horizons? Look no further! Le Boat, a proud member of Travelopia, invites you to embark on a rewarding journey with us.

Your Role: Maintenance Technician

As a valued member of the Le Boat team, you will play a pivotal role in preparing our boat yard for the upcoming season. Your responsibilities will include receiving boats, winter preparations, spring commissioning, fall hauling, and stocking the marine shop.

What We Are Looking For:

Skills, Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications, And Training

  • Technical studies or hands-on experience related to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, water pumps, or general maintenance.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Good communication skills to work together with Maintenance team and provide support to Customers during the season.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work on-site in Nieuwpoort.
  • Fluency in English or French or Flemish or Dutch
  • Full eligibility to work in Belgium.
  • All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory references

Advantageous:

  • Previous experience in car or boat maintenance is highly advantageous.
  • A strong desire to learn and enhance technical skills.
  • Ability to interpret specifications and installation instructions would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of marine diesels and proficient systems is a plus.
  • Additional languages like Dutch, German or Portuguese, Spanish or Italian is a bonus.
  • Passion for boating and prior experience are welcomed.

Working hours:

  • Winter season: Nov – Mar; operating Mon – Fri
  • Summer season: Apr – Oct off days Tue or Thurs plus Sunday with flexibility to work during weekends when it required.
  • On call duty on rota basis for extra payment (driving license and company car usage is required)
