Manager of Chemistry (M/F/X)

YOUR CHALLENGE as Manager of Chemistry North (M/F/X)

The assignment of the Manager of Chemistry is to manage lab activities at all production and customer sites in the TBE North (Flanders and Brussels).

Some Of Your Duties Include

  • Monitoring and interpreting the chemical operating parameters of the production sites to detect deviations and prevent degradation of materials and circuits
  • Apply the best possible conditioning technique to all circuits
  • Monitor chemical parameters that may affect the environment
  • Delving into, or developing analytical techniques (new methods/equipment, etc.)
  • Ensure water supply continuity and optimize facilities
  • Managing the team of lab technicians at the TBE North.
  • Performing periodic reports
  • Assist in the preparation and consignment of works and provide advice to the Maintenance and Operations manager
  • Participate in projects
  • Striving for continuous improvement and optimization of processes
  • Manage departmental budgets
  • Educating staff on chemical topics

A growth path for this position is possible, initially focusing on experience building before also managing the team.

YOUR PROFILE as a Manager of Chemistry North (M/F/X)

  • You are an Industrial Engineering graduate, preferably with a chemistry orientation or equivalent experience
  • You have a strong interest in operations and the understanding to integrate Chemistry into our production processes.
  • You are sufficiently assertive and possess leadership skills
  • You can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Geographic flexibility to ensure presence at all production sites TBE North
  • Knowledge of English
