Manager (m/f/d) sustainability reporting & climate champion

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• Build global carbon accounting set-up, streamline processes, apply effective tools/solutions for corporate GHG data collection, analysis and produce certification-ready reports to key stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date and ensure alignment with the GHG protocol, CDP, Science-based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and a growing number of industry-specific standards
• Be the climate champion and support the development of carbon neutral climate strategy, credible target-setting (e.g. SBTi) and roadmap towards sustainable mobility.
• Orchestrate projects of the internal cross-functional Climate Taskforce and work closely with external experts and partners.
• Create and drive a clear roadmap towards voluntary and/or mandatory sustainability/ESG reporting in line with FlixMobility sustainability strategy and goals. Analyze and define FlixMobility sustainability performance KPIs and metrics. Ensure data quality and bridge gaps in data readiness for disclosure and reporting.
• Develop and implement sustainability/ESG reporting strategy, set up reporting structure, manage processes and produce external sustainability/ESG reports. Ensure compliance with complex regulatory requirements and key sustainability/ESG related standards/frameworks (e.g. GRI, SASB, SDGs, CoP, evolving CSRD, EU Taxonomy, TCFD). Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external experts, partners and auditors.

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Management, Accounting, Business or a related field
• At least 3 years of work experience in a business setting with focus on environment, sustainability, non-financial reporting or related field
• Demonstrated experience in carbon accounting in high complexity sectors, preferably experience with platform business and transport sector
• Strong track record in corporate sustainability reporting and ESG ratings/rankings. Strong organizational and analytical skills to handle numerous data sources, inputs and data gaps concurrently
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, result-oriented, effective problem-solver. Ability to confidently facilitate working sessions with key stakeholders, as well as support the board-level sustainability Steering Committee.
• Fluent in German and English
