Duplex Studio is seeking a highly motivated Communications intern to join our Brussels office in Schaerbeek.

Who we are

We are a global design studio focused on objects that matter. We work with companies to materialise and convey their environmental engagements through eco-conception and the production of sustainable objects and strong narrative communication assets.

The role

The role will give you an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment together with designers and communication specialists from a variety of fields (strategy to production). You will work closely with colleagues in our studio in Schaerbeek, together with the communication team, with external collaborators to contribute to the delivery of creative content. You will be in charge of exploring and creating new communication trends and content, researching new strategies for specific concepts, and ensuring the studio’s right external and internal communication assets. We want you to challenge us regarding creativity and communication. We want to challenge you in developing your ideas and communication strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Projects Archiving
  • Visual content creation (photo & video)
  • Textual content creation (small articles & book structure)
  • Project research, dev. & positioning
  • Layout and graphic adaptation
  • Production and process follow-up

Duration

Starts in February

3 to 5 days (min. of 3 months)

Required skills

  • Experience with communication or public relations.
  • Pro-active, results driven and comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic small team environment with autonomy.
  • Experience in content creation (textual or visual content)
  • Understanding and experience with Premiere Pro, InDesign, Lightroom and Photoshop.
  • Native French or English speaker or equivalent level. Other languages are an asset.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Organisational skills, including ability to manage own workload, deliver at pace and balancing both immediate term priorities and longer-term goals.
