Success of Engineering Projects mostly relies on key individuals demonstrating Intrapreneurial Leadership, and the best way to develop these skills is through hands-on consulting roles—working alongside established intrapreneurs in international companies, contributing to managing stakeholders’ engagement, workflows’ reliability, or solutions’ sustainability.

If mechanical quality processes fail to be properly controlled across the supply chain, critical non-conformities may spread unchecked, leading to costly disputes, supplier breakdowns, and compromised defense systems reliability.

We would therefore welcome you at AETHER to support Intrapreneurial Projects, as a medior Quality Operations Consultant - Mechanical Control:

The scope, here, is to ensure operational excellence in mechanical quality processes across the supply chain, from suppliers through production, safeguarding compliance and supporting team coordination.

The Key Responsibilities Expected From Our Consultant Might Include

Support projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution

  • Follow QC mechanical process across the whole supply chain.
  • Execute 8D.
  • Execute CAPA.
  • Implement PPAP.

Support projects with rational, data-driven assessments for costs, quality, timelines

  • Monitor suppliers.
  • Identify and track non-conformities.
  • Analyze AMDEC / FMEA.
  • Assess deviations.

Support projects by facilitating communication and reporting between stakeholders

  • Handle litigations (disputes).
  • Plan (a bit of planning).
  • Manage / lead the team (team management).

The Experience We Are Actively Looking For

  • Bachelor degree in mechanical quality or equivalent technical background.
  • Solid understanding of QC processes within production and supply chain.
  • Knowledge of AMDEC / FMEA, 8D, CAPA, PPAP, deviations management.
  • Ability to manage suppliers, assess non-conformities, and handle disputes.
  • Some experience in planning and team coordination.
  • Valid work and residence permits for Belgium (mandatory for non-EU candidates).
  • Immediate availability and presence in Belgium are preferred.
