Job Description Summary

The Team Lead MIDC activities assures a compliant change process supporting efficient and cost effective handling of the incoming & outgoing product flow whilst meeting (internal) customer expectations.

He/She strives to lead the team to excellence by establishing and adhering to best practice. The Team Lead acts as an interface between supply chain, the plants, business, regulatory affairs, quality and the EDC (European Distribution Center) with regards to the change activities.

In this role you report to the Quality Leader of the European Distribution Centre.

Job Description

Your main tasks are:
  • Follow-up on standard requests within the department
  • Organize and coordinate new/changed modification and inspection activities, through collaboration with all parties involved like Supply Chain, QA/RA, Plants, Finance, EDC departments, external suppliers and requesting their approval
  • Communicate internally with all different departments in Temse (planning, inbound, outbound, transportation …) that are involved in the labeling process
  • Approval of labels via Nicelabel software
  • Authorized and Responsible for the release or coordination of the release for changed product
  • Follow-up ISO documentation for all processes in relation to labeling activities in compliance with ISO 13485
  • Work with procurement for price offers & follow-up on invoices. Create PO’s in Buysmart
  • Creation and follow-up on metrics in the matter of cost allocation & time efficiency
  • Looking for improvements/efficiencies to the labeling process
  • Participate to labeling governance board with EMA QA
As the Team Lead you are being expected to manage your direct reports, help them grow and excel in their job. You are coaching, training and supporting your team on a daily basis and this is something which you are passionate about.

You make sure that not only internally but also externally the stakeholders are being trained, complaints and issues are being handled in a timely and professional manner. Supplier Audits against ISO 13485 are being executed and you manage the workload and priority settings according to plan. You maintain de technical agreements with all the MIDC suppliers.

Who You Are

You have an educational background in Quality Assurance with good understanding and knowledge of a Quality Management System according to ISO13485. CAPA Management, GDP/GMP and recording practices and documentation requirements are no secrets to you. You are fluent in Dutch and English. You have a few years’ experience in managing a team ideally in an international environment.
