Job Description:

The Operation Procurement Officer will be responsible for leading and driving the operational procurement practices through the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the Performance organization.
As Operation Procurement Officer you will

  • Drive improvement in procurement operation through optimized user compliance, process performance, contracts and customer satisfaction;
  • Work closely with the Procure-to-Pay team ( sourcing, accounts payable & administration) ;
  • Rationalize the vendor management and participate in the legal revision and renegotiation of service providers;
  • Collect actual data and forecasts, review resource consumptions and the financial performance of the contracts;
  • Lead some procurement categories for spend optimization
  • Compile various reports and presentations to demonstrate progress of the contracts;
  • Assist in the request management process of the various contracts;
  • Administer the contract management tools used for the delivery of the various contracts;
  • Monitors the contract’s procedures and SLA; Ensure that contract milestones are met;
  • Communicate with external partners during the various phases of the contracts execution;
  • Follow up Purchase Orders:
  • Proactively follow-up POs to get supplier confirmations
  • Based on overdue PO reports follow-up with supplier to determine cause for delay and enforce fast delivery
  • Take care of the budget review and alignment with the business and drive the budget process;
  • Manage and maintain the Global Procurement Intranet Site up to date and related communications;
  • Report on the savings and Procurement spend;
  • Update the procurement policies (eg.: travel policy, etc.) and support the implementation;
  • Communicate with the customer and all contract stakeholders for all contract support related issues.

Candidate Profile:

Profile:

  • University Degree is highly desirable in a relevant field (procurement or supply chain); Bachelor
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a project management role.
  • Excellent communication skills in french and English: written, verbal, presentation;
  • Ability to analyze complex information and generate reports;
  • Organized, methodical, team player and able to prioritize workload;
  • Highly accurate and attentive to detail;
  • Experience with negotiation;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a drive and desire to deliver top quality
