About the job
Based in Mons, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will be responsible for production and management of Security Hardening, Configuration and Installation guidelines; providing security expert assistance and support in analysis of security incidents and resolution; reviewing documents to be published on NCSC Portals, or provided to NCSC customers, as part of projects deliverables.

About you
We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable Principal Technician (Cyber Security) professional with ideally a higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience; or, a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience.

You must have at least 3 years of experience in the analysis, implementation and integration of Information Assurance protective measures.

Experience in modern CIS deployment troubleshooting is a must. You must also have at least 3 years experience and expert knowledge in three of the following:

  • Enterprise system administration experience of Windows Active Directory concepts and architecture, with emphasis on security endpoint systems;
  • Related to modern Web Application Security;
  • Private and public cloud security;
  • Security mechanisms and administration of UNIX/Linux operating systems;
  • Security mechanisms and administration of Relational Database Management Systems.

Professional Qualification in IT Security (CISSP, vendor recognised certification e.g. Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, MCTS, VMware, GIAC, etc.) will be considered as a plus.

Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
