BelGaN is een Belgische chipfabricant met automotive gecertifieerde semiconductor fab en sterke R&D en operations groepen. BelGaN is momenteel op zoek naar talent om de organisatie in verschillende departementen te versterken, ter ondersteuning van de visie om een innovatieve GaN Valley in Europa uit te bouwen.

Process Engineer (HIVAC divisie)

Jobomschrijving

Als Ion Implant en plasma strip Process Engineer behoren de volgende taken tot jouw verantwoordelijkheid:
  • Je bent de eindverantwoordelijke voor bepaalde procesgroepen binnen de waferproductie
  • Je ontwikkelt en past bestaande processen aan
  • Je ondersteunt productie bij de dagelijkse monitoring van het process en grijpt in waar nodig
  • Je definieert vereisten en specificaties van het machinepark en helpt bij kwalificaties
  • Je adviseert, bereidt veranderingen en aanvullingen voor die de productie zullen verbeteren of vereenvoudigen
  • Je werkt nauw samen met productie operatoren, maintenance techniekers en maintenance engineers

Binnen jouw job zal je gebruik maken van:
  • SPC-, Cpk- berekening- en defect analyse-paketten
  • Software om pro-actief modellen op te stellen ter optimalisatie van proces- en toestel-parameters.
  • FMEA technieken om de proces monitoring te optimaliseren en het risico van kwaliteitsverlies te verminderen

Als Process Engineer zal je tevens “on call” zijn buiten de kantooruren voor de processen die onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid vallen.

Jobvereisten
  • Master in chemie, fysicia of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je bent flexibel, stressbestendig en hebt een sterke verantwoordelijkheidszin
  • Je beschikt over goede communicatievaardigheden
  • Je beheerst het Engels goed
  • Affiniteit met de halfgeleider industrie en ervaring met een productieomgeving zijn een troef
  • Kennis van ion implant of plasma strip processen zijn een troef
  • Ervaring met MS Office en JMP zijn ook plusplunten

BelGan is currently looking for talent to strengthen the organization in several departments to reach it’s vision of building a GaN Valley in Europe.

AsProcess Engineer (HIVAC)
  • Act as the end responsible for the Ion implant and plasma ashing development and -support within wafer manufacturing.
  • Define processing equipment requirements and specifications.
  • Recommend and prepare changes, additions, and modifications which will facilitate manufacturing.
  • Work in close collaboration with the production operators, maintenance technicians and the development team.
  • Within the job will use:
  • SPC, Cpk-calculations, defects analysis.

Pro-actively monitors, develops and characterizes processes (using design of experiments) and model equipment parameters.

FMEA techniques to optimize process monitoring and to minimize the risk of quality loss.
  • As a Process Engineer you will also be on call in off hours for the processes under your authority

Qualifications
  • Master or PhD chemistry or physics or equivalent due to experience
  • Hands-on experience in ion implant or plasma ashing is a great asset.
  • Affinity with the semiconductor industry and exposure to a production environment is a plus
  • Flexible, stress-resistant, strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good communication skills
  • Spoken Knowledge of Dutch/English
