About Our Client

Our client is a long-established industrial manufacturer based in Belgium, close to Ostend. The company operates in the chemical sector, produces very specific products under strict safety regulations, and is transitioning from a traditional work culture to a modern performance-driven environment.

Job Description

As Procurement Expert Services & Raw Materials you are expected to:
  • Source and negotiate contracts for raw materials and indirect goods/services.
  • Identify and assess new suppliers based on market analysis and performance criteria.
  • Collaborate with planning and warehouse teams to manage procurement needs and avoid shortages.
  • Accurately process purchase orders and monitor deliveries and invoicing in SAP.
  • Track market trends and price developments for critical materials.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Report on procurement KPIs, cost-saving initiatives, and vendor performance.
The Successful Applicant

As Procurement Expert Services & Raw Materials we want you to be / have (a):
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the chemical/industrial sector.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP for procurement tasks.
  • Analytical mindset with a cost-conscious approach.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and able to thrive in a changing environment.
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related fields.
