You are ideally located in the Netherlands, Belgium or UK.Into actionThe Product Development Specialist (PDS) is part of the North West Europe Marketing team. He/she is responsible for the management of the crop portfolio in the assigned countries, managing the existing range of varieties and working with a multi-disciplinary team to introduce new products into the market and position them optimally for our business growth.The challenge as PDS, you translate the regional portfolio strategy into optimized local strategies and develop annual plans for the crops including new product introductions, and management of the existing portfolio. You are accountable for the revenue, business impact and the commercial value of the tomato portfolio (short, mid, and long term).QualificationsYour profileTo succeed in this position, we are looking for candidates with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a strong horticultural background, backed up with sound industry understanding or equivalent business experience. You have marketing understanding and should be able to engage, inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams. You demonstrate strategic thinking and strong analytical skills to allow for data driven decisions.Your level in English is fluent.
