Product Owner and Teamleader Platform Security

Role & responsibilities:

By joining CISO Division, you will be leading a team of IT Security professionals and will be in charge of:

• Manage an operational team of about 10 people organised around four domains (End Point Security (EDR), Firewall Security Governance , Network Security (NDR/IDS) and Internet Proxy management)
• Manage the teams activities and priorities, in an “Agile” way: Product Backlog (complete, transparent and well communicated)
• Steer the team to become “best in class” by providing a great service to our internal customers and contacts on the different services we are responsible for
• As a product and service owner give guidance to the team in which directions we move on product, solution and services level.
• Align closely as well with senior management , the scrum team as well with the the procurement department which manage the relationships and contracts with the vendors.
• Define and roll-out a consistent approach to all the Euroclear locations in collaboration with our Enterprise & Domain Architects.

• Liaise, manage and maintain relationship with key teams such as our Cyberdefense Center, Architecture team and our Network Engineering team.
• Ensure the right solutions are selected, implemented in the right way, properly maintained and being evaluated on regular basis.
• Investigate standards on the market, assess, define and implement them within the organisation to allow Euroclear to achieve its high security ambitions as well compliancy with the regulators.
• Manage a heterogenous team being a mix of diverse profiles (internals, externals, experts, general specialist; with very different IT backgrounds, skills and seniority)
• Engage , inspire and show strong leadership by being a role model for the team and other teams in the department

• Building relationships, both internally and externally, with key stakeholders at all levels
• Having “Can-Do” attitude and focus on getting things done

Skills and experience : a combination of several of the below should be covered

• Several years of experience in managing operational teams.
• Some solid emotional intelligence and people management experience
• Working experience in the Agile way of working.
• Excellent understanding of Network and End Point Security concepts/environment.
• Good understanding of network segmentation , NextGen firewalling principles, EDR,..
• Broad knowledge on other IT domains like Windows, Cisco ACI networking, FW Mgt tools is a plus

Required qualifications:

• Broad knowledge of our IT infrastructure and Security solutions is an asset
• Transformation experience: Can lead complex transformations impacting several dimensions, from organisation to people soft aspects. Is able to design the change and has Change management experience (people side of change) to make it a success.
• Customer oriented: Has a passion for technology , customer service and problem resolution, is able to understand security needs and articulate them in high level language upwards.
• Complexity & problem solving: as a team leader of the Operation & Engineering team your team faces daily small problems and sometimes complex problems which need a pragmatic approach in the problem resolution.
• Process oriented: make sure all our services have clearly described process, processes get updated and optimized where needed.

• New ways of working: Euroclear works in Flex-E hybrid model between Onsite in HQ Brussels and working from home.
• Managing the development of the team and making sure they have all the needed knowledge and means to support this complex environment
• Leadership Skills: Providing direction, Strategic agility, Self-reflection and Inspiring/Engaging are important skills needed to be a strong leader at Euroclear.
• Interpersonal Skills: A candidate for this position will be a strategic thinker with passion for Network and End Point Security.

• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch or French are a bonus.

• You communicate clearly and maintain positive professional relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
• You have a strong organisational awareness and are 100% solution oriented
