Purpose of the job:

The Production Operator is in charge to:
  • Perform production tasks in factory on dedicated workstations
  • Pilot, clean, maintain assembly and test robots
  • Assemble and inspect finished product to ensure defined quality level on time

In this respect the person in charge complies with Ethics and Compliance policies

Operations/ Regional Center/ Industrial Operations

Reports directly to:

Regional Center Production Team Leader

Direct reports:

1 to 10 direct reports (depends on scope)

  • Manufacturing Team leader
  • RC Industrial Operations organization: Supply Chain planner, Warehouse
  • Industrialization: Tooling (Methods) team / Industrial test Engineer & Technician
  • Quality Manufacturing
  • EHS

Accountabilities & Authorities

Key accountabilities:
  • Handle, store goods and raw materials in the factory or the warehouse
  • Set up production equipment: robot, machine, workstation, test bench, inspection tool, warehouse equipment
  • Clean and maintain working areas and production equipment
  • Perform manufacturing / production / test tasks as planned by the MRP
  • Respect task time and quality level assigned by operating instructions, methods process and MRP routing
  • Identify parts as required by the operating instruction
  • Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks
  • Alert Team Leader on process drift or quality problem
  • Complete tally sheet on the MRP tool if requested by the Team leader
  • Pack goods ready for shipment in crates or other containers
  • Respect ESD rules for electronics devices production
  • Complies with EHS rules
  • The above list of duties is not exhaustive and will be adapted / adjusted according to the Regional Center needs

  • Manufacturing efficiency: spent time vs methods time
  • Product quality target
  • Deliver production tasks on time
  • EHS rules respect

Experience Prerequisites & Required Competences

Educational Requirements:

Mandatory:
  • Experienced operator in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical domain

Experience:
  • More than 2 years’ experience in Industrial or Manufacturing unit, on electronics, electrical or mechanical devices
