We are currently looking for a PRODUCTION SUPPORT MANAGER:

Your role:

You will be responsible for the global engineering team (engineers and technicians), reporting to the Technical Director, working closely with the Operations Team, Powerplant Engineering and SAE global engineering teams.

In this role you define and manage the technical know-how, processes, work instructions, means and support to the shop and to the network (based on Airworthiness and OEM documentation).

This to assure operational capability and capacity, within the company and network towards objectives set (safety, quality, operational performance (TAT-cost)).

· Supervise the airworthiness data implementation required to guarantee a safe, adequate and reliable operation as well as the best economical level of engine systems and their related components.

· Supervise the amendment to the airworthiness data, in accordance with the conclusions of the related investigations and studies performed by the Engineering (local or global engineering)

· Ascertain that engineering decisions (local or global) can be applied by the production teams.

· Lead the team to meet objectives in technical, economical, personnel aspects.

· Ascertain that his personnel shows and maintains the required qualification level and is kept informed of the new material and technology development.

· Define together with the global engineering the industrialisation objectives (repairs at engine/module/part level).

· Ensure and maintain relationship of the team with OEM support teams.

· The transcription of all applicable airworthiness data into the work documents and the management of these documents.

· The management of the tooling and equipment needed for the performance of the work.

· Ensure and lead optimal process for global engineering functions (work instructions , tooling, repair and special process, test bench optimisation, nomenclature, techno-economic)

· Implementation of all corrective action resulting from the QA department survey.

Your profile:

· Engineering degree;

· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment;

· French or Dutch speaker combined with a working knowledge of Dutch or French and English;

· Strong analytical skills and good communicator;

· Team player

· Good coaching skills;

· Stress resistant, accurate, deadline minded;
