For Our Client in the Energy Sector We are looking for an experienced IT Project manager with knowledge of the Belgian energy market, who will be responsible for the management of multiple projects from A to Z

Responsibilities

• Writing Project Briefs or Project Definitions

• Plan & Coordination of the project

• Management of dependencies inside project and between projects

• Management of coordination of the project members and IT resources

• Detect and mitigate Risks and issues

• Project communication, including management reporting

• Follow-up and updating the business case, including scope & financial management (defining budget, follow-up of the budget, alignment with the sponsor(s)…)

• Guarantee the quality of the end products and the quality of corporate processes

• Analysis of change requests on the project

• First contact point for the project sponsor

• Interaction between internal and external stakeholders

• Responsible for creating buy-in for the project and be present in touchpoint meetings with stakeholders inside and outside our client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5years of experience in project management
• Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
• Extensive knowledge of the MIG 6 and MIG DGO processes is a plus
• Having worked in a coordination role in a project in the MIG6 context (DGO or Supplier) is an absolute added value and will be used to differentiate candidates.
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with a team
• Prince 2: The candidate must have at least 1 of the following certificates (Prince 2 foundation, Prince 2 practitioner, Prince 2 agile).
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
• An experienced person in managing ESG projects in a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of Dutch and English is key, French is a plus ++

Context : Our client manages and implements services that help the DSO’s to realize the energy transition and support them in the development of the liberalized Belgian energy market. Based on solid expertise and knowledge, Our client aims to be the reference in the field of standardization and normalization of market processes as well as for the delivery of reliable and high quality federated services for its shareholders.

In this context a number of challenging projects have been identified. We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to make sure these projects will be delivered in full. The following projects are available at the start of the assignment (with possibly more in the future):

- Prepayment Platform project

Goal: In this project, Our client takes on the role of coordinating, implementing, and orchestrating the deployment of a digital prepayment solution that will interact with the smart meters currently being rolled out in Belgium. As the Project Lead, your responsibilities include overseeing and enhancing the existing project and its operational procedures.

- Project to upgrade the DGO Integration Testing (DIT) environment

Goal: Together with the DGO’s the project has to deliver an analysis on the business needs and feasibility to updgrade the DIT environment to a prod-like environment on top of the existing PrePROD & PROD environment that are also PROD - Like environments
