Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal requirements.
• Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
• Conduct market research and analyze pricing trends to support negotiation strategies.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Maintain and update supplier records, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes, cost savings, and supplier management.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within a similar industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, contracts, and supply chain principles.
