Within Akkodis we are looking for a QC Sample logistics support for one of our clients in the region of Geel. Our client is a global biotechnology company dedicated to treating, and one day curing, life-threatening diseases.

Key Requirements for the Position

Responsibilities:

  • Sample Management: Responsible for managing samples, including receipt, aliquoting, inventory, and logistics for both manufacturing and stability samples.
  • Storage Management: Managing freezers, refrigerators, and stability cabinets where the samples are stored.
  • Sample Shipping: Sending samples to contract labs and following up on results from Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
  • Performing Basic Chemical Tests: Conducting tests such as pH, osmo, refractometry, densitometry, spectrophotometry, and TOC according to implemented procedures and current cGMP guidelines.
  • Evaluating Results: Evaluating results and checking against assay acceptance criteria, specifications, and limits.
  • Reporting Deviations: Reporting deviations that occur during analysis and/or sampling.
  • Safety and Lab Housekeeping: Adhering to safety regulations and contributing to lab housekeeping and 5S optimization.
  • Reporting: Reporting within the applicable operational QC teams.

Competency Profile:

  • Education: Minimum basic chemical education or equivalent through experience.
  • Language Skills: Good knowledge of English to execute English procedures.
  • Accuracy and Quality Awareness: Working accurately with attention to quality and detail.
  • Planning and Flexibility: Good planning skills and flexibility to respond to the organization’s needs.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills within the team and with groups delivering samples.
