Job Role: QA Qualification/Validation Contractor

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced QA Qualification/Validation Contractors to support the QA Engineering department at Geel. In this role, you will ensure compliance with all qualification/validation requirements across the full system and process lifecycle — from concept and project phases through operation and retirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve qualification/validation documents and quality records (SOPs, URS, risk analyses, test plans/scripts, change controls, CAPAs, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations, guidelines, and J&J policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to support new or upgraded systems and processes.
  • Provide advice on qualification/validation activities while safeguarding cGMP aspects.
  • Investigate, document, and follow up on deviations during qualification/validation execution.
  • Report on quality, compliance, and planning to QA qualification/validation team members.

  • Solid knowledge of cGMP regulations and qualification/validation practices.
  • Strong decision-making ability with sound judgment of urgency, criticality, and impact.
  • Skilled at translating technical information into clear, understandable communication.
  • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills; able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the chemical and/or pharmaceutical industry in qualification/validation.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, lab, utility, IT, and automation systems used in pharma/chemical environments.
  • Experience with problem/change request systems (e.g., TrackWise, Comet) and document management systems (e.g., TruVault).
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
