Job Overview and Responsibilities

Contribute to and on some topics drive the design, development, and maintenance of competitive and innovative Total Rewards policies and programs in alignment with the Groups People strategy and Rewards philosophy.

Mission Outputs
  • Design Reward standards, policies and programs covering one or several areas of Rewards- Compensation (fixed and variable), Recognition, Benefits (retirement, employee share purchase, life & disability etc.) and Wellness (Health, EAP, time off etc.);
  • Coordinate the implementation and localization of Global standards, policies and programs within or beyond the Regional scope;
  • Monitoring trends and feed new solutions towards benefit of the continuous improvement of the Global standards in support of Groups & People strategies;
  • Oversee the communication of standards, policies, programs (and changes) to populations in scope, as well as organising training for Leaders and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate and advise HR Business partners, Site & Country HRs and Shared Service Center on practical aspects of Rewards standards, policies and market trends
  • Lead and support Reward related M&A activities (in scope), etc.
  • Observing changes in local legal frameworks (in scope) and flagging necessary changes of standards or policies timely
  • Key countries in the region: Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal.

Education and Experience

  • At least five years experience in Reward / Compensation & Benefit function in multinational environment,
  • Track record of successful Reward program design and implementation
  • Demonstrated experience and exposure in an international working environment
  • Digital literacy and savviness
  • Analytical, tactical and strategic thinking
  • Ability to translate technical (numbers, legal, etc.) to easy understandable language for those without a background in Reward
  • Ability to manage complex, multi functional/geography and fast paced projects
  • Experience in Legal and/or Finance (advantage)
  • Experience as a consultant working on reward related projects (advantage)
  • Experience in working with Employee Share Purchase programs (advantage)
  • Certified Total Reward Professional (advantage)
