Job Purpose and Impact

The Food Regulatory Labelling Specialist will interpret complex labelling regulations for some product lines and support their geographical expansion (EMEA and beyond, as needed). In this role, you will support labelling compliance questions received from other units of the company and business in charge of those product lines in the EMEA region.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure business activities comply with labelling regulations and laws.
• Examine current regulations and advise labelling changes.
• Inform and advise business on labelling issues and changes that could potentially affect the business or the company’s freedom to operate.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of labelling regulations applying to food B2C business
• Experienced in product registration in other regions outside EMEA
• Minimum of four years of related work experience managing support on labelling
• Fluent in English
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Ten years of related work experience.
• Experienced in working in regional or global teams
• Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
• Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
• Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments
