Responsibilities
As Sales Manager Benelux you will be responsible together with the Area Sales Manager for the sales for thegrowth of the market share of KEMIN in your designated area. You will have a variety of tasks such as:
- Support the further development of the Kemin’s commercial activities and sales in the respective area;
- Co-ordination and development of marketing and promotion (i.e. documentation, exhibitions) in accordance with the image and general policy of the company;
- Gather market information, also concerning the competitors (programs, prices);
- Develop and support existing sales and sales potential in the area;
- Manage and implement existing and new sales projects;
- Explore and implement new applications for existing products;
- Introduce new products at a high technical level;
- Define and develop product marketing and technical aspects in co-operation with the Area Manager, and other relevant departments;
- Work with other departments to meet customer objectives and to ensure customer’s needs are met regarding quality data and targeted turnaround times;
- Management of profit margin by means of appropriate selling prices and the research and introduction of new products and applications;
- Sell the complete Kemin product lines sold into the specific industry;
- Develop cooperative relationships with key customers and industry groups;
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers.
What we require of you:
- University degree in related scientific field, business or closely related field;
- Minimum 4 years’ experience with commercial activities, understanding the voice of the nutritionist and veterinarians;
- Technical experience with ruminant species nutrition and health;
- Good understanding of the Belgian and Dutch feed additives market;
- Demonstrated sales experience in successfully participating in an industrial/technical selling environment requiring lengthy and in-depth product and/or practice decision processes;
- A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution and a distinct sense of urgency;
- Excellent comunication skills and able to discuss on different levels
- Must have and maintain an insurable driving record.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office products and CRM system:
- Fluent in Dutch and English language;.
