For our client we are looking for an Sales Manager to strengthen the commercial team in Zeebrugge.

What does your day look like as a Sales Manager?

You will pro-actively manage and expand new and existing customers, by conducting (market) research, visiting trade fairs, events and conferences and also periodically visiting customers and prospects.
You will draw up an account, marketing and sales plan to reach the company’s objective.
You are kept up to date of the market developments and translate customer’s needs into internal organization.
You deal with tenders and quotation requests.
You prepare and conduct rate and contract negotiation.
You maintain contact with all stakeholders and manage customer satisfaction.
You keep the Sales data base up to date.

What is expected of you as a Sales Manager?

You hold minimum a Bachelor’s degree.
You have an affinity with the shipping industry.
You are customer oriented.
You are a Team player, who is also able to work and produce individually.
You have good communication skills, taking into account the level of the counter parties.
You have a good sense of persuasion.
You have an excellent level in English - French or Dutch is an asset.
You hold a driving license.
