We are currently looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for the France and Iberia region. For this opportunity we will consider applicants from technical field sales background roles who have experience in dealing with the complete go to market model to including OEMs, End Users, and Channel Partner Distribution networks.

Key Areas Of Responsibility
  • Develop and grow the HTS France and Iberia Customer Market to deliver and exceed business targets with a strong sales pipeline.
  • Lead a team of account managers and digital sales individuals by setting up a rigorous management operating system and drive a culture of sales excellence and customer centricity.
  • Engage with direct reports responsibility in terms of Training/Management/Development via the Honeywell business processes to facilitate clear career growth pathways for employee development.
  • Develop and grow own key customers relationships and sales opportunities.
  • Engage with cross functional teams (e.g. Finance, Global Customer Care, Offering Management) to ensure a best-in-class end to end customer experience.
  • Drive sales reporting expectations with Sales Operating System in terms of delivering key metrics and alignment to Honeywell commercial excellence requirements.
  • Chair and own regular Sales meeting calls in the region to ascertain the current sale planning environment on a weekly basis.
  • Be instrumental within a team environment, promoting innovative sales propositions/sales actions/sales initiatives to increase customer engagements and promote greater value added. Drive new product introduction in the market.
  • Take on board country specific responsibilities for working collaboratively with Finance to reduce Bad Debt and Past due impacts.
  • Lead and create Engineered to Order (ETO) projects, developing a “adding Value mindset” culture for our customers to provide and facilitate key engagement via a consultative selling process.

Requirements
  • 10+ years overall experience within a Technical Selling Environment / Process Engineering.
  • Degree in a related Engineering Subject is required – Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical discipline.
  • Experience with Industrial Process Thermal Solutions would be an advantage.
  • Working Knowledges of SAP and Sales Force CRM is an advantage.
  • Strategic and tactical mind set with passion of Technical Sales & networking skills.
  • Good Communication Skills (written and spoken) with customers.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and visit customers – 60%.
  • Drive enquires/adds value to customer propositions, follows problems to successful resolution.
  • Taking ownership to overcome barriers and being persistent to best serve the needs of our customers.
