We are looking for a motivated Senior Accountant for different entities within AGC in Belgium.

In the execution of the tasks below, you closely work with colleagues, suppliers and customers all over Belgium and you report directly to the AGC Finance Country Manager. You also have regular contacts with the Shared Services Team in Teplice, CZ.

As Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Accounting :

Day-to-day management of the various tasks that are part of the accounting from A till Z :

- Banks

- Customers

- Suppliers

- Travel expenses

- Fixed assets

- Payroll accounting

- General accounting

- Statutory and management closing and reporting (local and IFRS requirements)

- Intercompany reconciliation

- Tax accounting (VAT + Income tax return preparation)

Controlling :

- Cost Accounting and Inventory

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Prepare timely monthly financial statements

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Profile :

We are looking for a strong candidate with the following skills and qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar function

- Bachelor or Master in accounting/finance

- Good communicative skills in Dutch and English, French is a plus

- Computer skills : SAP + MS office
