We are looking for a Senior Antenna Design Engineer (AIP, AOB) for our R&D activities in Leuven.

Your responsibilities:

Design microwave and mm-wave antennas for radar and communication applications, in collaboration with RF/analog/system experts.
Write design specifications, choose antenna topologies, select suitable PCB and/or package materials and technology.
Design microwave and mm-wave interconnects.
Run EM simulations for design and validation of antenna systems.

Requirements:

Master or PhD in electronics, specialized in electromagnetics, antennas, mm-wave designs.
At least 5 years experience in the design of microwave or mm-wave antennas.
Experience in design of phased array antennas.
Solid theoretical background in EM theory, antennas, transmission lines, matching techniques and antenna beamforming.
Hands-on experience in antenna integration in PCB and IC package.
Expert in EM simulations (e.g. Ansys HFSS), experience with PCB layout tools.
Familiar with lab equipment (e.g. network and spectrum analyzers), antenna measurement techniques, probestation.
