By joining our Industry Solutions team, you will specifically help our Financial Services clients bridging their strategy into a concrete vision, and help executing this strategy/vision by supporting them in business case exercises, raising awareness about and helping them adapt towards the most recent trends in the Insurance and Banking industries and transforming their business.

What work you’ll be doing

As an FSI Strategy & Transformation (senior) consultant, you will support our clients and contribute to a wide range of projects by:

• Helping CXOs simplifying their organization through process optimization, product simplification, and operational efficiency;
• Transforming the business of FSI actors, by defining new value propositions, developing new underwriting capabilities, or (re)imagining their target operating model;
• Supporting FSI actors in connecting with their distributors and clients, by improving their customer journey and distribution channel capabilities.

How you’ll grow

• You will work on strategic and transformation projects and learn how a client project is managed;
• While becoming proficient in the enabling methodologies, tools and processes, you’ll rapidly take on increased responsibility over deliverables and towards clients;
• Increasingly, you’ll assume more responsibility, managing and mentoring junior team members;
• As you grow in your job, you’ll take on a more senior role and subsequently develop a relationship with the client and position Deloitte for other assignments;
• As you become proficient in combining these various skillsets, you’ll supervise and manage all phases of a project, plan project activities and monitor its progress.

• You have 2 to 5 year of experience, and at least 2 years of relevant experiences in a FSI-related context, as well as a desire to develop your knowledge in the Insurance and/or Banking sectors;
• You are fluent in English, French and/or Dutch (written, spoken) – All three is a strong plus;
• You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in business orientation such as Business (Commercial) Engineering, (Applied) Economics, (Financial) Management or Civil Engineering, and have a strong interest in strategy, financial services and/or digital technologies;
• You have the capacity to identify client strategic goals and their related initiatives;
• You want to deliver strategy and operations advises to Financial Services CXOs;
• You’re aware of the importance of the role you will have in the Financial Services industry and have an extended understanding of its value chain and business processes;
• You have an intrinsic motivation to know the business and are fascinated with industry trends and market dynamics;
• You are client-focused and have an entrepreneurial spirit, willing to make an impact, both externally (at the client) and internally (within Deloitte);
• You are flexible, able to work in a multicultural environment and to focus on priorities;
• You are a team player with strong communication skills and realize that excellence should be achieved as a team;
