Location: Belgium (Hybrid Working)

Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Strategy Manager to join their in-house team. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams, providing key insights and innovative solutions to the organization’s strategic challenges in their B2B strategy team . This role involves working closely with senior management and reporting directly to the Head of Strategy. The fast-paced environment requires a candidate who is comfortable with rapid changes and ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Oversight:

• Manage relationships with business stakeholders, clearly defining strategic challenges.
• Collaborate with clients to address top-level organizational issues such as growth, performance improvement, market expansion/entry, customer insights, pricing & profitability management.
• Lead branding, innovation, marketing, and communication strategies through insightful analysis and creative ideas.
• Oversee and assist in research processes.
• Create and pitch ideas for various levels of corporate development and implementation.
• Provide strategic management and oversight to an interdisciplinary engagement team (designers and strategists).
• Ensure strategic alignment and coach teams through change management.
• Support creative conception and design with strategic direction.
• Generate written content for marketing formats, including client memos, proposals, branding, strategy documents, collateral, and talking points.
• Mentor and manage junior team members.
• Infuse innovation, creativity, and inspiration into all engagements.

Relationship Management:

• Manage team workflow to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Identify key engagement touchpoints for principal and/or director involvement.
• Establish smart timelines and milestones across multiple projects; adjust based on capacity, cost, and client needs.
• Oversee outside partners and vendors.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Several years of strategy experience from a top strategy firm.
• Experience in a strategy consultancy firm or corporate strategy department, managing significant integrated strategy and/or innovation engagements.
• Experience in the technology sector or similar, telco, digital,
• Experience in B2B strategy
• Expertise in the application and expression of various strategies (e.g., growth, market expansion/entry/exit, pricing & profitability, corporate identity, products, packaging, retail, cause marketing).
• Experience in qualitative and quantitative research design and execution.
• Ability to distil business needs and research findings into actionable brand strategy.
• Sharp attention to detail.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.
• Superior organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• A desire to work in a values-driven organization.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff.
