Supply Chain Planner - DYMO

Position title: Supply Chain Planner - DYMO

Location: Sint-Niklaas, BE

Reports to: Supply Planning Leader

Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Job summary

As a Supply Chain Planner you will be responsible for planning process for raw materials, packaging as well as finished goods to meet service-level targets and keep inventory within approved guidelines.

You will order raw materials, packaging and handle purchase orders from placing until delivery.

You will also monitor and analyse service levels and back orders. You will maintain Bills of Material, Routings and Planning parameters in SAP system.

Key responsibilities:

• Supply planning for raw materials and packages, based on forecast, customer orders and history:

• Prepare purchase orders (PO) – analyze and confirm purchase requisitions
• Manage stock parameters – in line with company guidelines
• Manage planning parameters
• Follow up on transitions in packages and parts, and ensure smooth introduction and launch

• Purchase order (PO) administration:

• Convert confirmed purchase requisitions into POs
• PO follow-up: vendor confirmations, expedite requests
• Handle PO and delivery related issues
• Provide purchase forecast to suppliers
• Follow up on supplier deliveries – set priorities and report in designated team meetings

• Production planning, in order to meet service-level target and keep inventory on target

• Daily monitoring of production progress against planning and company approved frozen volume

• Coordination with Manufacturing team:

• Introduce stock corrections and take the necessary initiatives to improve stock accuracy
• E&O and scrap management: set up destination for obsolete materials together with production, engineering, marketing and accounting departments

• Cooperate in projects about stock reduction, supply continuity and other improvements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, or related discipline
• 1-2 years of experience with demonstrated results in Operations, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement
• High proficiency with MS Excel
• Principles of SAP (R/3, SAP APO and SAP BW/BEX reports)
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and English

• Ability to interact with different functions (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Customer Service, Distribution Planning) and different levels in the organization (Production team leaders and Management)
