We are seeking a Senior IT System Engineer based in Seraing, Belgium, to support global infrastructure operations, with occasional travel and collaboration with international teams. In this role, you will be responsible for managing network, server, and system applications to ensure seamless performance. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring systems, resolving incidents, managing installations and updates, and maintaining high availability of systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational management and support of network, server, and system applications.
  • Troubleshooting escalated issues beyond Service Desk capabilities.
  • Planning, configuring, and maintaining infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with IT teams on datacenter implementations.
  • Vendor liaison for technical issue resolution.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • 8-10 years of experience with large Windows server platforms.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange, IIS, SCCM.
  • Knowledge of VMware, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewall, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Familiarity with Office365 and Azure.
  • Datacenter device installation experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Linux and experience with international organizations.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure and VMware.

  • Fluent English; French is a plus.
