We from Adecco are pleased to inform you that our partners from Bleckmann are currently looking for team leaders it its Ghent location. The position is temporary.

Tasks

  • You are responsible for the optimal functioning of the
department.
  • You improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Besides the daily work planning and follow-up of your
employees, you take care of the internal training and coaching of new team
members.
  • You detect improvement potential in the work processes of
your team
  • You will motivate and coach your team members
  • You are always prepared to solve mistakes and to assist
your team members with advice.
  • You help implement the human resources policy.
  • You report to the supervisor
  • In case of leave and absence of the Supervisor, you take
over various tasks
  • You make a proactive contribution to our continuous
improvement methodology

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of the logistical organisation
  • Experience in managing warehouse employees
  • Good communicational skills and positive attitude
  • Experience in working with logistic processes
  • Excellent knowledge and command of English and some proficiency in Dutch
  • Flexible, stress-resistant and people-oriented
  • Willing to work in a fixed shift system (early or late
shift)
  • Competencies: improvement-oriented, team player, coach
