Join a dynamic software development team and contribute to the global financial industry’s mission-critical software. As a Test Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring quality, security, availability, resiliency, scalability, performance, and system resource consumption.

Responsibilities

• As a Test Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team of professionals and applying agile software developments, testing and delivery practices.

• You will actively participate in the whole cycle of development of new user stories: requirements review, solution design, implementation, testing plan and development testing.

• Understanding problems, solutions and ensuring the overall consistency of the software will be one of your primary objectives.

• You will share team commitments and own some parts of those solutions.

• You will perform software delivery tasks (builds, installation of release on test environments, etc). • Our solution can always get better! You will take any opportunity to improve the way we work, the tools we use and the software we produce.

What to expect :

• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product owner) to identify system requirements, develop effective strategies and test plans.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

• Design, develop, execute and maintain test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results • Report bugs and errors to development teams

• Help troubleshoot issues

What will make you successful:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computing field (IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics).

- Over 5 years of testing experience.

- Familiarity with Agile frameworks is advantageous.

- Testing methodology certification (e.g., ISTQB) is an additional asset.

- Possess an analytical mindset and a problem-solving attitude.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

- Open-minded, solutions-oriented, and a genuine team player, finding energy through collaboration with others.

- Demonstrated strong interpersonal relations, a sense of responsibility, commitment, and customer focus.

- Capable of independently prioritizing work based on business impact and urgency.

- Proactive, positive attitude towards work and problem-solving.

- Testing background with knowledge or experience in:

• Basic functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, X-Ray), Confluence.
• Agile mindset: A keen interest in learning and continuously improving work methodologies.
• Team-oriented: Taking pride in team achievements and ready to offer and receive support from team members.
• Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in remote meeting setups.
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a passion for educating others.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Ansible: Good understanding

• Python: Good understanding

• Robot Framework: Good understanding

Advantageous Skills (Encouraged, but not Mandatory):

• Git/Bit bucket, SQL, Docker/CICD/DevOps, Test automation, Unix/Linux (SE Linux).
• Confidence and willingness to be trained for candidates without specific skills/knowledge.

Communication Skills:

• Very good communication skills, including remote meeting setups.
• Curious, eager to learn, and ready to educate others.
