RESPONSIBILITIES of a Test Engineer

  • Conducting standard and non-standard testing in-line with customer expectations and in cooperation with engineering
  • Prepare test set-ups for non-standard testing following the company procedures and policies and suggest improvements
  • Ensure the compliance of the test set-up with customer requirements and run the test accordingly
  • Feedback to engineering with regards to the design and performance of a product
  • Continuous improvement of Lab Equipment (calibration / maintenance / 6s)
  • Working together with lab technicians on complex test programs, with management and engineering. Occasionally with company suppliers.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Electro-mechanics or/and equivalent through experience
  • Several years of experience in a test environment (R&D or Quality)
  • Good knowledge of product portfolio and technical challenges of new developments
  • Critical mindset related to testing and communicating results and improvements
  • Hands-on person liking autonomy in the job
  • Problem solver
  • MS Office and standard and non-standard lab software
  • High level of English. Any other language is a plus
