To strengthen our Corporate Development and Finance department, based in our Headquarter in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Treasury Middle Office Analyst.

As a Treasury Middle Office Analyst you will be responsible for all Treasury accounting & closing activities, reporting and compliance requirements within the Group.

Your contribution:

  • Treasury Accounting & Closing:
  • Monthly valuations & accruals of Treasury instruments
  • Supervision and assistance of the Back-office
  • Coordination of internal & external audit on Treasury topics
  • IFRS9 hedge accounting and documentation
  • Treasury Reporting & Analysis:
  • Generation of Treasury reporting
  • Analysis of the monthly P&L on exchange results
  • Validation of the FX hedging performed by Front Office
  • Validation of Financial Results for the Group
  • Ad-hoc Treasury Reporting (Annexes to annual accounts, BEPS, …)
  • Treasury Compliance & Documentation:
  • First contact for banks’ compliance and KYC requests
  • Intercompany loans & deposits pricing & documentation
  • Treasury Master Data management and validation
  • EMIR & related compliance requirements
  • Ad-hoc projects on above areas
  • Back up for other Treasury functions

The Treasury Middle Office analyst role is ideally positioned for growing Treasury expertise within a global Treasury center. The scope of responsibilities is expected to expand as part of the candidate’s development trajectory.

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Experience in Corporate Treasury and sound understanding of Treasury products and valuation thereof;
  • Technology savy – MS Excel is a must;
  • Prior experience with TMS/ERP, preferably SAP;
  • Excellent analytical skills and drive for accuracy;
  • Continuous improvement mindset, pro-active, and comfortable taking ownership;
  • A solid team player, coach mentality vis-à-vis the outsourced Back-Office;
  • Stress resilient ; working efficiently within a challenging working environment;
  • Able to solve problems independently, displaying leadership, sound judgment and understanding when to seek advice;
  • Business-fluency in English.
