Next to the impressive Volvo Trucks production facility in Gent you also find Volvo Group´s largest Distribution Center in the world, the Uptime Center, the Technical Sales Support Center and Volvo Group IT. Outside Gent and in Brussels you find among others Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment but also Volvo Financial Services, each entity autonomous and beautifully connected to drive prosperity through our transport and infrastructure solutions.

This position is located in Gent with the HR responsibility for the full Belgium. You are part of the Country Management Team, where you craft and communicate the strategies for the change you want to see in the business. You are heading the HR Country Committee – where all HR heads come together developing the best HR solutions for the business. Last but not the least, you are also the manager for the HR Center of Expertise in Belgium – a team of highly talented experts handling total reward, legal & labour relations, health, safety and wellbeing but also employer branding and other strategic topics. You also represent the company in several external fora. There are about 45 HR professionals in Belgium today – totally targeted on becoming the Dream HR team. They want our new VP HR Belgium´s management style to be inspiring, rewarding and visionary, yet responsive and ever progressive. You naturally combine intelligence and interpersonal skills with purpose.
