The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Deputy Head of Finance Business Partnering to join our Building Performance Division, the largest division within the Etex Group.

Reporting to the Head of Division Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction, driving transformation, and revolutionising performance management from a finance perspective.

Your mission is clear, act as a trusted Business Partner, supporting the Management of the Division and Gypsum platform in their decision-making process. You will be at the forefront of major strategic initiatives within the division and your expertise will be crucial in assessing business performance, assisting in overcoming challenges, and executing performance improvement plan.

This role can be based from home, ideally within the UK, France, Belgium or Germany. This role will require extensive international travel with regular visits to our head office in Zaventem, Belgium.

Key Accountabilities

• Play an active role in performance management, planning & finance processes for the Division
• Contributes to the development and implementation of the strategy for the Division and Gypsum platform
• Lead the creation of insights to bring impactful and powerful reporting to the division and to group
• Act as a key business partner to Heads of Finance in our local markets globally
• Assess and evaluates risks, anticipates the necessary provisions and decisions
• Manage the production, analysis, and timeliness of the financial reporting of the Division
• Responsible for reporting of the divisional results to Divisional management & the Group in line with reporting requirements defined by Group Controlling & Consolidation

Skills & Experience

• Strong background in finance business partnering within a global, matrixed organisation
• Proven track record of working as a finance business partner at a functional, divisional or group level
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Proven track record of driving and leading change initiatives related to the finance function
• Strong technical financial background
• Strong understanding of managing financial reporting
• Beneficial if you are a fully qualified finance professional or someone with a degree level qualification in a finance of business focussed subject
