The job

At Manuchar we like to MoveIT! From 2022 and onwards, we want to go to the next level in unlocking the value of our data and will be replacing our core systems and removing future barriers. Do you want to be a crucial part of our journey towards that goal?

As Developer BI your main duty is to transform raw data into meaningful insights with the help of interactive, easy-to-understand dashboards and reports. You coordinate with business analysts in the collection of user requirements, and assist with the functional specifications for analytical reports, dashboards, or other data related requests. Finally, you develop reports and dashboards with data coming from multiple data sources, using various software tools and power BI, to identify and resolve data issues and provide analytics for our business.

Your main responsibilities are:
  • understanding business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights and estimate the timeline to accomplish the related tasks
  • creating, publishing and scheduling dashboards and interactive reports, using Power BI
  • integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service or by API automation
  • conducting unit testing and troubleshooting
  • developing and update technical documentation
  • maintaining and developing the Power BI environment

Profiel

Your profile
  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree combined with relevant experience as a senior Developer BI (at least 3-5 years).
  • You have (a sound) knowledge of:
    • T-SQL
    • GIT integratipn (SQL, Azure Data Factory, SSRS, PBI)
    • PowerBI
    • DAX (PowerBI)
    • PowerQuery (PowerBI)
    • Power Pivot, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
    • Azure DevOps
    • Dimensional modelling (according to Kimball)
    • Knowledge of Python and/or R is an asset
    • You are a teamplayer but at the same time independent and feel comfortable working in a cross-functional team.
    • You are hands-on with a ‘can do attitude’.
    • You are flexible and pay attention to detail.
    • You perform well in a hybrid work environment (work from home + max 2 days/week at the office).
    • You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch/Spanish/Portuguese is a plus.

    • Fasen en procedures van de technische en functionele tests van informaticaprogramma’s en -applicaties bepalen en uitvoeren (planning, validatie, ...)
    • De technische, economische, … informatie en de reglementering opvolgen en actualiseren
