Within Akkodis we are looking for a Electrical Engineer for one of our clients in the region of Leuven.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Sits on the project team as delegate for electrical works. Translates all electrical needs of the project into a design.
  • Is creative and inventive, while respecting standards and regulations. Is improvement-oriented and participates in the implementation of new techniques.
  • Works in a multidisciplinary team (HVAC, utilities, equipment, etc.) and negotiates scope, planning, budget, techniques, etc. within this team.
  • Draws up specifications and selects the most suitable party together with the purchasing department.
  • Is the first point of contact for all electrical work within the project on both the contractor side and the project side.
  • Follows closely the measurement statement with the contractors and regularly compares with the predefined budgets within the project team.
  • Together with the construction management team, is responsible for defining the safety rules and following up the agreements made with the contractors.
  • Is responsible for the commissioning and qualification of the systems to be delivered.

Requirements:

  • Experience: at least 1 year experience, preferably in industrial environment
  • Degree: knowledge of (master) Electricity/Electro - Mechanics or equivalent through experience
  • Nice to have: VCA for executives, experience in pharma environment, AutoCAD
  • Required personal skills: Customer orientation, necessary administrative and communication skills, project management skills
  • Languages: Dutch and English
  • Added value: Knowledge of the Caneco programme for cable calculations, knowledge of AREI, E-Plan
