Junior Electrical Engineer required in Antwerp, Belgium. The company will provide accommodation (own bedroom on a shared house) flights, transport from the accommodation to site, additional daily food allowance. Rotation of 7 weeks on and 9 days off working from Monday to Friday from 07.00AM to 05.00PM and Saturdays from 07.00AM to 04.00PM.

We are looking for a flexible open minded Junior Electrical Engineer to be trained on the Industrial Construction Sector and to be willing to work abroad.

Details of position:

· Creating workpacks to suit engineering design deliverables (Drawings, Bill of Materials etc.) The key objective of the workpack is to clearly communicate the designer’s intent to the construction team.

· Conducting Constructability Reviews of the workpack scope with participation from QA/QC and construction.

· Independently evaluating, organizing and prioritizing the work to ensure that workpack delivery is in line with the construction schedule.

· Monitoring the electrical & instrumentation works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents, “Issued for Construction” drawings, documentation and procedures.

· Takes an active role in all matters relevant to safety, participates in all Randridge site meetings and coordination meetings with client and sub-contractors.

· Receiving, reviewing, filling and issuing all “issued for Construction” documentation to the work force.

· Coordinating all electrical & instrumentation activities and operations with Randridge supervisory staff.

· Replying to requests for information applicable to electrical & instrumentation works. Issuing and logging all “Technical Queries” and “Non Conformances” requiring design feedback from the Design Office (Randridge and / or Client).

· Approving / compiling Randridge as-built drawings and all other relevant engineering data for inclusion in final turnover quality package to client.

· Assisting as required in the final inspection of the work. Review the adequacy and accuracy of punch lists. Monitor final completion of the work. Participate in support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as required.

· Share responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organisation and supervision of material and personnel.

Contract length: 18 months
