For this client, a global manufacturer, present all over the world, with production facilities in Belgium, Italy, and the US, we are looking for the best and brightest AP Accountant to join the finance team.

Headquartered in Bruges, the AP accountant will be responsible for the Accounts Payable function of the Belgian entity.

Responsibilities:

  • Posting of supplier invoices in the AP ledger ;
  • Investigating and resolving any discrepancies to purchase orders and goods received records ;
  • Account Reconciliations, including supplier statements ;
  • Generating and posting payment proposals ;
  • Develop procedures and controls to ensure accuracy and standardize and/or simplify processes ;
  • Uploading payments to the banking systems ;
  • Preparation of AP related financial reports ;
  • Provide management with regular reports based on defined KPIs ;
  • Ad-hoc requests as required.

Profile:

  • At least 2years’ experience of working as an Accounts Payable Administrator ;
  • Ability to work with little supervision and use your own initiative ;
  • knowledge of SAPis an advantage ;
  • Fluent in English& Dutch ;
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
