DSV Equipment
We are looking for a driven Administrative Assistant for our fast-growing DSV Equipment department, located in Puurs-Sint-Amands (Belgium).

You will be part of the global success of DSV, the number 3 freight forwarding company in the world. DSV Equipment rents out trailers, containers, forklifts and warehouse equipment to other DSV departments across Europe. DSV Equipment’s head office is located in Puurs-Sint-Amands and has decentralisedequipment centers around Western Europe.

Controlling costs and administration
Due to growth of the trailer pool and department, our finance team is looking for an extra Administrative Assistant who likes to join the team. Together with 3 colleagues you are responsible for the financial process of data entry, invoicing, reporting and data processing in various systems. Other duties include:

Use our company in-house systems to invoice, book, report, control turnover and costs for trailer hire as well as other trailer related costs for Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands
·
Check and book purchase invoices
·
Follow up on identified errors in invoicing and vendor invoice processes
·
Identify and resolve discrepancies
·
Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and vendors
·
Assist in the month-end closing and prepare financial reports
·
Provide administrative support for sales activities on external sales of tyres, tyre sealant and workshop services
·
Adhere to DSV financial policies and procedures
·
Update and operate the intercompany dispute management system

Profiel:

Relevant work experience in invoicing and bookkeeping
·
Strong administrative skills and an eye for detail
·
Exquisite knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both in word and writing

·
Solution oriented mindset
·
Routine user of MS Excel (knowledge of SAP is a plus)
·
Experience in the transport and logistics industry is an advantage
·
Optional 4/5 working week
