Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an Aftermarket Product Manager at our Thermo King EMEA strategic business unit. We are looking for a dynamic individual to develop and execute product strategies that maximize market share and financial results for Aftermarket Parts department.

This Will Include
  • Managing service part and accessory product categories throughout product lifecycle with full responsibility for pricing, forecasting, marketing, and end of product life
  • Being accountable for delivering on financial targets set out for the portfolio in terms of revenue, gross margin, and price realization
  • Identifying market opportunities and prioritizing product and customer requirements for new product development, quality improvement, and cost management initiatives
  • Defining the product vision and working closely with engineering to deliver successful products
  • Partner with sales, operations, procurement and other functions to ensure sales, profit and customer satisfaction goals are met
  • Responsible for ensuring the product marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals
Responsibilities
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of service parts and accessories
  • Identify and develop new product opportunities that match customer and market needs
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the portfolio
  • Create sales tools and collateral that supports brand message and emphasizes value differentiation
  • Develop and leverage financial analytics to deliver profitable growth
  • Provide project management oversight on a variety of projects related to development of products, partnerships, promotional activities, and marketing literature
  • Work closely with aftermarket sales team to help them achieve their objectives
  • Support the sales organization, dealer channel and end users in training efforts regarding key competitive features and value proposition of portfolio
  • Work closely with suppliers to identify new opportunities, source innovative new products and be an expert in the competitive landscape
  • Actively contribute to the business growth plan as a key member of the Aftermarket Product Growth Team
Qualifications And Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or other technical related degree
  • Master’s degree would be desirable
  • A minimum of 5 years of product marketing experience with a strong technical and commercial ability
  • Track record of achieving financial targets and goals
  • Results driven and action-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of the transport refrigeration business and/or automotive industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective support on a broad range of activities requiring attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Solid organization skills and flexibility to handle a variety of time sensitive tasks and projects
  • Be able to perform effectively as a team member and be able to work independently in the pursuit of company objectives
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional matrix organization in an international setting
  • Enjoy new challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
