THE JOB

In this role, you will first learn to understand the working of the equipment of Molecular Plasma Group. Then you will be responsible for the lab equipment of Molecular Plasma Group and if needed also to build and/or repair this. In a later phase, you will assist with the installation and servicing of Molecular Plasma Group’s equipment at customer sites. This will require only a limited portion of your time, less than 20%. As the first person in this role at Molecular Plasma Group, you will have the opportunity to establish the job and define the service workflow based on your experience.

THE TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Maintaining the R&D plasma machines in Molecular Plasma Group’s lab. Assuring that all equipment will be available for tests by the scientist team. This includes the daily cleaning of the atomizers and the set up of the machines.

• Manage the lab and warehouse of Molecular Plasma Group.

• Manage the 3D printing activities.

• Organize the cartridge refilling, including shipment to final customer.

• Arranging the installation, including the mechanical and electrical set up of new customer equipment, supporting the acceptance testing and sign-off at the customer site. Define the spare parts required for machine maintenance from a service perspective, providing

feedback on design related issues to serviceability, and reporting any feedback to

engineering for improvement.

• Provide input for and/or arrange a proper set-up of the service organization.

THE ALL-ROUNDER TECHNICIAN JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

Relevant technical education or bachelor level (mechanical, electrical, or related field), combined

with at least 2 years of experience in a comparable role. You will recognize in yourself:

• A hands-on mentality, independent, pro-active, solution-driven and eager to learn.

• Experience in assembly or testing of high-tech equipment is an advantage.

• Flexibility and ability to cope with the dynamics of a start-up environment.

• Warehouse inbound and outbound + warehouse handling including ODOO transactions.

• 3D printing.

• Support the colleagues in the laboratory.

• Being able to build good relations with customers.
