Your Profile

General
  • You are fluent in English (TME business language)
  • You have superior written and verbal communication skills
  • You have strong interpersonal and network development skills
  • You have strong planning and organizational skills
  • You have an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of cybersecurity methodologies
  • You have attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills
  • You can work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines
  • You can explain highly technical concepts to executives in a digestible fashion
  • You have experience in an International Enterprise and have worked across different organizations, nationalities and cultural differences
Specialism
  • You have a masters degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification
  • You have minimum 2 years of experience of application security, dev(sec)ops, secure software development lifecycle or similar.
  • You have a clear conceptual understanding of the SDLC
  • You have preferrable experience and familiarity with ISO21434 & UNECE R155
  • You have experience working in a regulated environment / with homologated products.
  • You have experience ensuring own and other’s deliverables are sufficient, correct and in line with management expectation, policy and procedure

Your Team And Your Responsibilities

Information Systems is a truly pan-European function with members based in Head Office, manufacturing plants, and National Sales & Marketing companies across Europe.

Pan-E IS vision is to BE at the core of the business. One of the main pillars of this is to BE Secure by stabilizing and securing systems and operations while transforming.

The Cyber Security team is responsible for guarding the reputation of Toyota by assessing and protecting Toyota existing business against external and internal threats. The team also enables growth in Toyota businesses by securing innovation, protecting intellectual property and promoting secure business practice. The team follows the principle of continuous improvement through education and insight to build the best security practice possible.

Your Responsibilities
  • Promote Cybersecurity awareness for Internal and External communication
  • Represent TME in relevant associations and fora
  • Ensure that Toyota and Lexus customers in Europe can be confident that IT solutions and systems protect their security and privacy
  • Working with other functions at TME as the “second line of defence” to oversee processes, provide guidance and audit/assess to ensure cybersecurity and privacy protections are in place systems (applications, back end, servers, services etc)
  • Assess and regularly reassess risks linked with homologated systems
  • Work cross functionally with Electronics and Toyota Motor Corp. to follow and develop the Vehicle Cybersecurity Management system.
  • Ensures that every step of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) follows security best practices.
  • Responsible for adhering to secure coding principles and aid in testing the application against security risks/parameters before release.
  • Collaboration on product conceptualization for security by design
